Most books begin generating immediately and are usually ready within 15–30 minutes. Larger orders (for example, full audiobook bundles) or peak-time load can take longer. We send an email notification when your book is ready — if you haven't received it after about 30 minutes, please check your spam folder and contact hello@pooks.ai with your order ID.

Very! We ask about your specific goals, challenges, experience level, preferred learning style, interests, and more. The AI writes every chapter specifically for you — not generic content with your name inserted.

We currently support 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese.

A typical Pooks.ai book is around 150 pages (ebook) or 2-3 hours of audio for the audiobook version. The exact length depends on the category and your personalization choices.

Absolutely! You can create as many books as you like across any of our 12 categories. Each one is uniquely personalized to your answers.

Short answer: the title generator sometimes produces a possessive-style title that includes the reader's first name (for example, "Maya's Trail Running Playbook"). If you'd prefer a title that does NOT include your name, enter a custom title on the Create page before generating and it will be used instead of the AI-generated title. If a generated title includes your name unexpectedly or you'd like it changed after generation, reply to your order email or contact hello@pooks.ai with your order ID and we can regenerate or apply a custom title for you. We're actively working to improve the title generator to avoid inconsistent name inclusion.

Yes! Once generated, the book is yours. You can read it, share it with friends, or keep it forever. The content was written specifically for you.

Yes — you can sign in with Google. On rare occasions Google may not return an email address and sign-in will fail; if that happens please use the standard registration form or contact hello@pooks.ai for help linking accounts.

Logged-in users can upload files (PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, ZIP, DOC/DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX). Uploaded files are private by default; admins can mark files public. Public files appear on the Public Files page and can be downloaded by anyone. Please avoid uploading sensitive personal data.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the registration form to block bots and automated signups while keeping the sign-up experience smooth for real people. It runs in the background most of the time and usually doesn't require solving a visible CAPTCHA. If you see the Turnstile widget, just complete the form normally — it helps protect accounts and keeps the site fast and reliable.

We keep generated books available for download on our servers so you can retrieve them. To request deletion of your account and associated generated files, contact hello@pooks.ai and we will remove your data. See our Privacy Policy for further details.

A full personalized ebook is $10. The ebook + audiobook bundle is $20. You can preview a free sample chapter before purchasing.

Yes — if you're not satisfied, contact hello@pooks.ai within 7 days of purchase with your order ID and we'll provide a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds requested after 7 days are handled case-by-case; please include your order ID and a brief reason so we can review. Processing time: refunds are issued promptly but may take 5-10 business days (or longer depending on the customer's bank/processor) to appear on your statement. You'll receive a confirmation email when the refund is completed.

Yes! No credit card required. You get a table of contents, introduction, and one full chapter — completely free. If you like what you see, you can purchase the full book.

We accept all major credit and debit cards processed securely. PayPal is offered in some regions and will appear as a checkout option when available. In some setups the site may use different payment gateways for processing — if you have questions about a specific charge or need help, please contact hello@pooks.ai and include your order ID.

Yes — you can create a book on behalf of someone by answering the personalization questions for the recipient. We don't yet have a formal gift-card or gift-checkout flow; after purchase you can download the files and share them directly with the recipient. If you'd like help (for example, a printable gift note or assistance sending the files), contact hello@pooks.ai and include your order ID.

Verification emails (the link sent after registering) expire after 24 hours. Password reset links expire after 2 hours — if a link expires, request a new one from the Reset Password page.
